Museums offer fascinating, enjoyable and rewarding volunteering opportunities. At The Mo our volunteers:

• become part of an enthusiastic community of people
• spend time working with wonderul collections in a beautiful building
• learn about fascinating histories and stories
• work in a sociable and friendly enviroment
• use their skills and knowledge in new and rewarding ways
• hone or learn new skills

We need volunteers to help out in many different ways:

• bringing the museum and its stories to life to visitors
• serving visitors in the shop
• supporting school and group visits
• looking after historic lifeboats and fishing boats
• housekeeping and decorating at the museum
• cataloguing and caring for the collection and archive
• undertaking research in the archive

Whether you have a few hours a month or a few hours a day, we would love to hear from you.
